This blog is pretty much solely for you, and for me to remind myself exactly what i've done with myself every day.

It's currently coming upto 7am and i've just found the air-con remote for the living room which i'm unnaturally happy about. I'm sitting at the living room pc trying to resist watching any videos online to entertain myself. I'm entertaining myself with criminal minds on my phone. Tell violet that i'm getting my shemar fix just fine without her :-p
We got to amsterdam at 12pm-ish on friday night, and took the loooong way round to the hotel. We left the airport, and walked round a few streets (abouta 5-10 min walk) Turns out you can actually access the hotel without leaving the airport and that we walked past the entrance whilst trying to find it. Not cool . My mum placated me with burger king. I'm definately a convert. Turns out marcel thought that burger king was terrible too (until a couple of days ago). Supposedly my mum took us there when we were tiny and it was so bad that it poisoned my mind against them til age 21. Not cool.
The lobby of the hotel in amsterdam was beautiful and they had really weird stuff like a giant bowl of the nicest, greenest apples ive ever seen that you could just take; random ice machines and a free shoe buffing machine with mousse next to the lift. I was a bit suspicious of the apples since i've read snow white and the receptionist looked a bit... witchy.
Anyway we touched down yesterday at around 2pm and went shopping. We went over the biggest bridge in curacao on our way to our villa. Its in Willemstad (i think). The first time that we came here, a tour guide told us that people arent allowed to walk over it anymore (only cars) because too many people kept jumping off it to committ suicide. Depressing. I asked him if many people succeeded and i think he said that some people didnt die but got paralysed and worse. Not what you want to hear whilst whizzing over it at breakneck speed...
The vila is stunning and the view is awesomeness. We had a bbq last night and marcel made us chicken wings and kebabs (which tasted damn good). We sat around this table which was so nice in the eve with the crickets and breeze (but had macho caribbean bugs which turned me into a bit of a jumpy nightmare).
We have our own little pool which had a cat walking by it this morning.
There are pretty awesome views too
I'm still in my pj's but might actually make use of the gym upstairs before we go to the beach today. Even i barely believe this as i'm writing it... lol... we'll see.
